I'm having an issue with my 64-bit Windows 7. It doesn't matter whether I put it to sleep, hibernate, or shut down, it will always restart saying there was an improper shut down. If I start again in safe mode, I am able to shut it down from there and it
starts again normally. The computer is very new (got it a month and a half ago) and the only thing that I have done any differently recently is to pull up the command box and pull up my MAC address with the ipconfig /all command. Performance has not been hindered
at all that I can tell, but the start-up issue is a large enough hindrance in itself. Hoping there's a simple solution.
