XP Mode process continues to run( in Windows 7 Professional 64bit) even after shutting down the virtual application (from start menu) as its trying to hold the COM ports usage when its needed to use in the host computers...Also found that when I manually ended the process, the same can be used in the host machine. But the same didnt happen when the applications are used inside the XPMode VM (when the VM is shutdown - the process ended as it supposed to)
Can you please suggest any idea if that process can be ended after shutting the application down through any script or using the PSKill...please let me know.....
