XP Mode trying to be "master browser"

I installed Win7 x64 and XP Mode about a month ago, and ever since then when the VM and XP Mode is active about every 32 min. I've gotten the following error (ID #8003) in the Event Viewer:

The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer XPMODE that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{C220BA55-BBBD-4326-8659-361D02520EF8}. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.

This is the only consistent error I'm getting in Win7 and although my research shows that it is innocuous I'd like to get rid of it.  Under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters the "IsDomainMaster" registry key is set to "false" in XP Mode, but it apparently still tries to wrest control as master browser.  This key is not present in the host machine (Win7), but when I added it the error persisted.

Further, when I disabled the Computer Browser service in XP Mode, which is often mentioned as a cure for this problem when dealing with computers in the domain, XP Mode generated an ominous "critical error" the next time it was launched, so I enabled it again.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this persistent error would be appreciated.
