I get this error within Microsoft Virtual PC when I attempt to boot from a VHD file created using the utility Disk2VHD.
PXE-E53: no boot filename received
I created the VHD off of my C: which has my primary Windows install (Windows 7 Pro) so I assumed I could now just boot into it as if I was booting into my primary machine.
I checked the Virtual PC settings and ensured the VHD is correct and that Integration Features remains unavailable.
I also went into the Virtual PC BIOS menu and ensured the Virtual HD is found as primary Hard Disk and that Hard Disk is at the top of the boot priority.
What am I missing?
