2nd vhd drive doesn't mount.

Ok. I followed all the instructions on how to add a 2nd virtual drive to Windows XP mode running on my Windows 7 host PC. I even google searched for any other instructions just in case a step was omitted or left out.

The 2nd drive does not show up in disk manager, my computer or the device manager.  I would expect it to show up in device manager as another Virtual HD like the boot drive does.

host OS is windows 7 Pro

VMwindow.exe version is 6.1.7601.17514

Virtual Integration components is currently version 14.1.7600.16403

I uninstalled Virtual box to make sure that was not the issue. I know Windows Virtual PC and Virtual box do not like each other.

I do not have any Symantec software installed on either the host or virtual PC.

Any ideas or suggestions?
