Windows Explorer on Win XP Mode on W7 Ultimate (64) will cause an instant Stop (blue screen) error when I try to copy and paste files from within XP to drives on W7 host. This occurs whether I use a script (my usual method) or I open Explorer and use the
mouse. In the latter scenario Explorer opens OK and shows file structure OK but causes an instant collapse as soon as you select an XP file and choose copy. Win XP on W7 has been just fine for me for at least 18 months. Problem arose two days ago without warning.
I should add that my legacy application on XP continues to work as normal. I have uninstalled XP Mode (and lost data files) and did a complete reinstall with all updates. Fault behavior remains exactly as before, that is totally unchanged. Help much appreciated.
